The electropneumatically driven, modular Stripper Crimper is used for the efficient processing of loose insulated Z + F ferrules with cross-sections of 4 to 6 mm² (AWG 12 - 10) and crimping lengths of 8 to 18 mm. The special feature: Two cross sections in all lengths can be processed simultaneously. At the touch of a button, you can switch between set cross sections.

Wire Processing Center (WPC)
The WPC is a mobile system to process different wires for switch cabinets with cross-sections between 0.5 mm² and 2.5 mm². The different wires and their components are listed in a CAE system. The WPC process the wires as these stored in the list step by step. For each item in this list, the wire is cut to length with blades, the required labels are printed and the correct ferrule is crimped to the wire with the UNIC-GV universal crimping machine. The operation of the individual steps is carried out manually, which allows the operator to increasingly lay and connect the wires for the complete job in the switch cabinet.
The system offers a semi-automatic processing of wires through integration of
- a THM multi-marker to create the desired markers
- a Z+F UNICUT 8017 for cutting the wire to length
- a Z+F UNIC GV for the correct crimping of the ferrule with plastic collar
- a PC, with intuitive software that visualizes the complete task in the CAE system and control every single step of the task
UNIC GV
The UNIC-GV is an electropneumatic benchtop stripper-crimper, which allows processing five ferrules on reel with different cross sections. Ferrules on reel in the range of 0.5 – 2.5 mm² (AWG 20 – 14) with crimping lengths of 8 or 10 mm can be processed with no down time. The user simply chooses the cross-section on a touch display. Ferrules on reel for multi standard conductors can also be processed.
